ALAMOSA, Colo. (September 23^rd, 2016) --- Despite a large, rowdy crowd, the volleyball team was unable to win a set tonight in a losing effort to Metropolitan State University Denver (8-3).

Student led teams and clubs packed the stands and made it a great environment on a very cold night in Alamosa. Unfortunately, the team was defeated in 3 sets, losing 0-3. After a competitive 1^st set went 22-25, Metro would widen the gap in the next 2, winning 18-25 and 16-25.

The Grizzlies (7-5) are back in action at home tomorrow night at 7:00pm against the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
