Las Vegas, New Mexico. - The Adams State University volleyball team (12-11, 8-6 RMAC) are on a hot streak and continue to climb up the RMAC ladder with a 3-2 win over New Mexico Highlands (7-12, 4-10 RMAC) as they hold solid at number seven in the conference.

The game was not as easy as some may have predicted but still fielded a favorable result. Highlands took the first set 26-24 following a 4-0 run to secure it. Adams State would take the next two sets 25-17 and 29-27 respectively. The Cowgirls would not go down so easily though as they fought their way to a 25-16 fourth set win. Mallory Grimsrud kill ended things 15-13.

Hannah Goddard all hit double-digits in kills and combined for 53 of the team's 58 kills on the night.
Katelyn Schwartz made a return to the top of the assist category with a team high 35.
Gabrielle Timmen was solid on defense with 24 digs. Brianna Montano led the Cowgirls with 24 kills and six digs. Â
