Chadron, Nebraska - The Adams State University men's basketball team (10-9, 8-5 RMAC) took care of business tonight in Nebraska with an 82-70 win over a struggling Chadron State team (3-15, 1-11 RMAC). The win moves ASU into a tie for fifth place in the conference.

A three pointer by
Jarrett Givens midway through the first would give the Grizzlies their largest lead of the game at 17 though the Eagles would cut that down to seven by halftime. Adams would hold the lead near the double digits for the remainder of the game on their way to the 12 point win.

The Grizzlies benefited from 16 points off turnovers and 27 bench points. The team also out-rebounded the home team 40-28.
Brandon Sly led either team with 23 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Jarrett Givens would add another 16 points. Jeremy Ruffin and Dru Kuxhausen contributed 16 points each for the Eagles.
