MBB | Grizzlies fall to ThunderWolves on Wednesday Night

PUEBLO - The Adams State University Grizzlies fell to the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves, 97-88, here at Massari Arena on Wednesday night. The Grizzlies, who will return to action on Thursday when they make up last Saturday's postponement at MSU Denver, will fall to 3-3 on the season.

The Grizzlies led by as many as seven points in the first half, hit a scoring drought in the final 3:21 of the first half. The momentum helped CSU-Pueblo to take a 43-40 lead into the break.

The ThunderWolves extended their lead to ten points, 58-48, before Adams State was able to battle back and tied the game at 65. Adams State could not maintain any momentum going forward as they allowed the lead to continue to grow.

Adams State was led in scoring by Destan Williams, who scored 25 points, shot 10-of-17 from the field. Rylan O'Brien scored 22 points, Frederick Jackson scored 19 and Kaelin Crane scored 10.
