ALAMOSA, Colo.—The Adams State University volleyball team was on the losing side of a four-set game with the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves on Saturday evening inside Plachy Hall. The Grizzlies lost with set scores of 24-26, 25-22, 21-25 and 14-25.
The Grizzlies hit at .136 clip and had 48 kills but 26 errors in the game. Their best set was the second set in which they had 13 kills to two errors and hit at a .256 clip.
In the game the Grizzlies had four aces and nine blocks. They were led by
Alexandra MacAskill and
Shannon Mulkey, who each had nine kills.
The ThunderWolves hit at a .242 clip with 56 kills and six aces. They were paced by Hannah Delor, who had 13 kills.
The Grizzlies, who are now 7-8 overall on the season and 3-3 in the conference will return to action next Friday and Saturday when they travel to Colorado School of Mines and Chadron State.
