ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Adams State Grizzlies play their last conference games at home this week. They also only have three games left in their season. For the seniors that will be honored this weekend, this will be the last time playing at the ASU Soccer Field.
The first game the Grizzlies play this weekend is on Friday, October 29 th at 3:00 p.m. They will be playing Westminster College. The Griffins are currently 7-2-4 overall and 4-2-3 in conference. Westminster is also on a two-game win streak as they most recently beat Black Hills State and Colorado Christian 3-0. The Grizzlies will be looking to ruin their win streak and get their second win of the season just before conference ends.
The last game played at the ASU Soccer Field this season will be against Colorado Mesa. The Grizzlies will be honoring their seniors with a little ceremony and hopefully a solid win. Colorado Mesa is currently 11-2-0 overall and 8-1-0 in conference. The Grizzlies will aim to be the Mavericks first loss on the season. The Mavericks are a serious force to be messed with but the Grizzlies are up for the challenge.
In the last home game for the season the Grizzlies will be celebrating eight seniors. The seniors are, Goalkeeper
Reannon Baskin, Goalkeeper
Ashley Beers, Midfielder
Vaniah Vitto, Midfielder
