ALAMOSA, Colo.—A strong offensive performance by the No. 7 Colorado School of Mines Orediggers, buoyed by Brendan Sullivan, who scored his 1,000th career point, as they defeated Adams State 68-48 inside inside Plachy Hall on Friday night.
Adams State jumped out to a 5-0 lead but Colorado School of Mines went on a 14-1 run to take a lead they would never relinquish.
Destan Williams led ASU with 16 points including a 4-of-5 outside shooting night.
Kaelin Crane pitched in 11.
Adams State, now 8-8 on the season, are sitting in sixth place in the RPI standings, with one game left to go tomorrow when they take on Regis at 7:30.
