DENVER—A midday Monday make up game saw the Adams State University Grizzlies travel to the Regis Fieldhouse to take on the Rangers. A 29-10 second quarter doomed the Grizzlies as they fell in the game, 75-46.
Adams State maintained a reasonable hole as they trailed 16-11 after one quarter. Then the Grizzlies appeared to play flat as they only hit 4-of-14 from the field in the second quarter.
The hole they dug was too deep and they couldn't close the gap any closer than 18 points.
Adams State was led in scoring by
Kaitlyn Bell, who hit 6-of-9 from the field for 15 points while
Kayla Harris scored ten points in the game.
The Grizzlies will return to action on Friday when they travel to Westminster to take on the Griffins at 5:30 p.m.
