ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Adams State Grizzlies had a challenging preseason but it has prepared for their conference matches. They are headed into RMAC portion of the season with a 1-3 record overall.
The Grizzlies open on the road as they play Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado on Friday, September 24th and then go to Denver, Colorado on Sunday, September 26th, to play Regis University. These matches will be a great test to see where the Grizzlies stand as they take on conference opponents.
Up first is Colorado School of Mines. In their last matchup on March, 26th 2021, the Grizzlies lost 3-0. Adams State is looking forward to a different outcome this time. This season, the Orediggers ae coming into conference play with a record of 3-1-2 overall. They are currently 1-0-1 at home and 2-1-1 away. The Orediggers are most recently coming off of a loss to the No. 10 Florida Tech. They lost from a penalty kick in the 48th minute, which made the score 1-0.
After the Grizzlies take on the Orediggers, they travel to Regis University. Regis' overall record is 3-2, with an at home record of 2-0 and an away record of 1-2. Most recently, Regis is coming off of a win against Hawaii Pacific University, 3-1.
