"We're excited for our home opener on Friday. Been a long month on the road. But we're ready to start making Alamosa a difficult place for opposing teams to play," said Head Coach
Colin Baker. "It'll be a battle both Sunday and Friday. Both teams are very physical, athletic, and direct. So we will need to stay locked in and execute the little things to go 2-0. But we're ready to go and we can't wait to see all our friends, families, students, admin, professors, and the rest of the local community there in support."
After Friday's game, the Adams State Grizzlies will take on Western Colorado University on Sunday, October 3rd, at 3:00 p.m. This will be Western's Colorado first game off the weekend. They previously lost to Colorado State University, Pueblo, 2-0. The Mountaineers record coming into the game is 3-0-4 overall, and 0-2 in conference. This means that both teams are looking for their first conference win.
Up next, the Adams State will continue to play at home as they take on Fort Lewis College on Sunday, October 10th at 1:00 p.m.
