ALAMOSA, Colo. — The Adams State Grizzlies hosted the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers. The Grizzlies were fresh off an overtime loss to the nationally ranked Regis University.
The Grizzlies were aggressive and playing hard from the tip off. This was carried throughout the entire first half as the score was 38-32. Only one player from both teams were in double digits at half time.
Jordan Notch from the Grizzlies had 15 points with
Kaelin Crane trailing behind him with seven. For the Orediggers, Riley Schroeder 12 points, with Justin Engesser seven points.
The second half started and it looked just as the first. The Grizzlies held and lengthened the lead but the Orediggers never stopped fighting. Eventually the Orediggers shortened the league and with ten minutes left in the game the score was 61-60, as the Grizzlies remained ahead. The Orediggers took the lead with one minute left they were up 72-67. The Orediggers held their lead as the final score was 77-71.
