COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— The Adams State University Women's basketball team had six student-athletes named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic Honor Roll as announced by conference officials on Monday afternoon.
The Grizzlies are represented by redshirt junior
Kaela McClure, sophomore
Laura Gutierrez, freshman
Celina Watson, senior
Haley Eaves, redshirt junior
Kaitlyn Bell and redshirt senior
Stephanie Ruiz.
McClure is a Master of Business Administration candidate with a 4.00 GPA while Gutierrez is majoring in Business Marketing and holds a 3.79 GPA. Watson holds a 3.58 GPA and is majoring in psychology whole Eaves holds a 3.54 GPA and is majoring in General Business. Bell holds a 3.40 GPA and is majoring in kinesiology while Ruiz is a double major in Business education and Business Marketing while holding a 3.42 GPA.
The Grizzlies are 9-10 overall and 7-7 in the conference as they sit in seventh place in the standings. They will be back in action on Friday and Saturday when they travel to Black Hills State and Chadron State. Both games are set to tip off at 5:30 p.m.
