WSOC | Grizzlies battle ThunderWolves to 0-0 tie

ALAMOSA, Colo. – After 90 minutes, neither the Adams State University Grizzlies nor the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves were able to score a goal in Thursday afternoon's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) contest here in Alamosa.

Neither team was able to crack the scoreboard as the game went to the half with a scoreless tie. The Grizzlies than put the pressure on in the second half as they had a series of three straight free kick shots that were on goal but great goalkeeping kept the score tied entering the final 30 minutes.

Both teams took ten shots in the game with five being on goal, however, the second half was all Adams State as the Grizzlies had nine of their ten in the second half. Both goalkeepers came away five saves in the game.

The Grizzlies have four games remaining in the regular season as they travel to Colorado Springs (10/19 at 1:00 p.m.), Grand Junction (Fri. 10/21 at 4:00 p.m. vs. Colo. Mesa) and Salt Lake City (Sun. 10/23 at 1:00 p.m. vs. Westminster). The regular season concludes on Oct. 26 when the Grizzlies celebrate senior day at 3:00 p.m. against New Mexico Highlands.
