ALAMOSA, Colo.—Battling winds were sustained over 30 miles per hour and spots if horizontal rain, the Adams State University men's soccer team celebrated senior day on Sunday morning. The Grizzlies were, unfortunately, on the wrong end of two first half goals for a 2-0 loss to end the season.
The Grizzlies, who finish the season with a 1-15-2 overall record and a 1-8-1 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) record, celebrated five seniors including Bryan Fernandez,
Logan Rabasca,
Max Devarenness,
Brendan Koplin and
Dillon O'Farrell.
During Sunday's game the Rangers, who were attacking into the heavy wind and rain, scored in the 12th and 24th minute.
The Rangers outshot the Grizzlies 10-3 with six of their shots being on goal while all three of the Grizzlies shots being on goal.
