COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Due to impending weather conditions in Spearfish, S.D., the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has announced the change in location of the 2022 RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The event will now be hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo at CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colo. The three-day event will begin Friday, April 29, and will conclude Sunday, May 1.

"As we drew closer to the event and gained higher confidence in weather predictions, our Athletic Administrators Council considered the totality of challenges our participating teams faced," said RMAC Commissioner Chris Graham. "We place great value on the rights of our institutions to host events for their student-athletes and communities and thank Black Hills State for their offer to move the championship."

The decision to move the outdoor conference championships comes on the heels of a decision by the league's Athletic Administrators Council. The group moved to make the site change with student-athlete well-being at the forefront of discussions after reviewing weather conditions forecasted in Spearfish, S.D., this weekend.

The schedule for this weekend's championships will proceed as originally planned. For more information regarding the upcoming event, fans can visit the 2022 RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships page.
