Colorado Springs, Colo. – Three standout Grizzlies—Lieke Hoogsteen, Maggie McCleskey and Lauren Ocampo—have been named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team, as announced Thursday by the conference office.

Hoogsteen, a junior from Nijmegen, Netherlands, boasts a 3.99 GPA as a biology major. McCleskey, a junior from Louisville, Colorado, earned her second straight First Team honor after also being recognized in 2024. She holds a perfect 4.00 GPA in biology. Ocampo, a dual-sport athlete competing in both track and women's soccer, was honored for her 3.95 GPA in kinesiology.

In addition to the First Team selections, six more Adams State women earned spots on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll:

• Alese Sartain (Sr., sport psychology)

• Fiona Hawkins (Jr., chemistry)

• Emily Schoellkopf (Sr., business administration)

• Clara Keddy (R-Fr., English)

• Haley Harkrider (So., business administration)

On the men's side, seven Grizzlies were recognized on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll:

• Wyatt Dirkes (So., business administration)

• Micah Swann (R-So., business administration)

• Jake Beckwith (Sr., communication)

• Andrew O'Keefe (Sr., physical geography and conservation; graduate studies in education)

• Juan Rosales (Sr., sociology)

• Emil Bezecny (So., interdisciplinary studies)

• Awet Beraki (Sr., kinesiology; graduate studies in business administration)
