ALAMOSA, Colo. —The Adams State Grizzlies and the Fort Lewis College Skyhawks finally played their makeup game that was originally scheduled on March 30th. The Grizzlies fell 17-1.
The Skyhawks came to play as they dominated the offensive and defensive end of the entire game. By the second period the Skyhawks were up 10-0. Going into halftime the score was 12-0.
This theme was carried over into the second half of the game.
Jazmine Palacios scored her first goal this year during the third period. This was the only successful offensive possession for the Grizzlies as the final score was 17-1.
