CHADRON, Neb. -- Chadron (Neb.) State College used a 10-point scoring advantage in the second half to beat visiting Adams State 92-80 Jan. 14.
The Eagles' record is 9-8, 6-5 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while the Grizzlies fell to 3-12, 1-10 in the RMAC.
CSC had a two-point lead at the intermission but outscored ASU 42-32 in the second half to take the victory. Isaiah Simpson led the Grizzlies with 21 points.
Maison Adeleye had 18, and
Kolby Walker contributed 14. No stats were available for the Eagles.
Both teams shot the ball well from the floor. ASU made 57 percent of its field goals, and the Eagles made 56.5 percent of theirs. The game featured eight ties and 13 lead changes.
Adams State faces Westminster (Utah) College at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, in Plachy Hall.
