NEW ORLEANS—Adams State University senior Brianna Robles was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II National Athlete of the Week by the organization earlier today.
Robles won the third conference title of her career, crossing the line in 20:34 at the Washington Park course. She was also named the RMAC Women's Runner of the Year.
Between Allison Beasley, Helen Braybrook, Anna Fauske, and Emily Schoellkopf the individual title was just as highly touted. The four names above posted an average finish of 22nd at the Division II National Championship last fall.
This is the second time in her career that Robles has been named National Athlete of the Week during the cross country season. Robles previously earned national weekly honors on October 13th, 2020.
The Grizzlies now set their sights on the NCAA South Central Regionals on November 4th in Lubbock, Texas.
