ALAMOSA, Colo.-- After a close game on Saturday night, No. 10 Colorado Mesa came out with the win over the Grizzlies in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) action. Adams State played to the wire and kept it close, winning the second set and even led by four points in the fourth set.

Throughout this match there were nine lead changes and 25 scoring ties, making this game much closer than the final scores displayed. The Grizzlies were led by Cindy Garcia's, Angela Youngs', and Anna Huggins' 30 combined kills. The Grizzlies also out blocked Colorado Mesa 13 to 6.

Adams State heads to Lakewood, Colo. next the 13th to face Colorado Christian and will then go to Chadron, Neb. to face Chadron State the following day, on Saturday the 14th.
