PUEBLO, Colo.— Controversy surrounded the 5,000-meter run and despite that the Adams State University men's track and field team held their heads and a third place trophy high on Saturday night here at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl. The women finished in sixth place.
Despite confusion in the final lap of the 5,000-meter run, junior

The confusion happened in the final two laps of the race as the bell was run signaling the final lap when in reality there were still two laps remaining. As the lap went on senior Devonte Jett-Reynolds ran a 60-second lap to pull into either second or third place believing he was done.
