ALAMOSA, Colo. -- A lone goal in the fifth minute of Saturday afternoon's non-conference game for the Lubbock Christin University Chaps to get a 1-nil win over the Adams State University Grizzlies men's soccer team here at the ASU Soccer Field.

Battling the late summer heat, Enzo Jaques scored the  goal with an assist from Lucas Carli. The Chap defense held the Grizzlies to just five shots while the Grizzly defense allowed 18 with just seven on goal.

Zach Carr got the loss despite some great saves in the pipes.

The Grizzlies will return to action on Friday, Sept. 15 when they host the Oklahoma State University Panhandle Aggies at 3:00 p.m.
