Colorado Springs, Colo. — Adams State volleyball redshirt senior outside hitters Cindy Garcia and Anna Huggins were named to the 2024 All-RMAC Volleyball Second Team, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Thursday.
Right-side hitter Hadleigh Richardson, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colo., was named to the All-RMAC Honorable Mention list.
Garcia, who played in 22 matches for the Grizzlies, accumulated 297 kills, averaged 4.28 points per set, and posted a .239 hitting percentage while recording 39 total blocks.
Huggins, who led the Grizzlies offensively, totaled 320 kills, 20 service aces, 42 blocks, and 281 digs this season.
Both Garcia and Huggins surpassed 1,000 career kills this season.
Richardson recorded 172 kills, 51 total blocks, a .203 hitting percentage, and contributed 206.5 points for the Grizzlies.
"These three have been fun to coach this past year. Them as well as the rest of our seniors have really helped to shift the belief and perception of Adams State volleyball and have given us a good base to build from in the coming years," said head coach Garcia Ramser.
All three received this honor during their final season of play at Adams State.
