New Orleans, La – The 2024 NCAA Division II Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year Romain Legendre (MBA: Sports Leadership) leads a strong group of Adams State Track & Field to USTFCCCA All-Academic status the USTFCCCA announced Monday.

The Men's program brought home a placement on the All-Academic Teams combining for a cumulative GPA of 3.14. Individually 9 Men were placed on the All-Academic Team. 

In order for an individual to meet the criteria to be eligible for the honor, they must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale through the end of the semester of completion, have completed at least 24 credit hours, and achieved an automatic or provisional qualifying mark for either indoor or outdoor season.

Jonah Vigil- MBA: Leadership / Business 

After a strong outdoor season that saw Legendre win the 5000 meters at the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships and maintain a 3.667 cumulative GPA. He brought home the award and became the sixth athlete in Adams State program history to be named the National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year for outdoor season.
