A dominant second quarter saw the Grizzlies outscore South Dakota Mines 18-6, building a lead they held for the remainder of the game. Defensively, Adams State forced 14 turnovers and converted them into 15 points.
South Dakota Mines, now 3-12 overall and 3-5 in RMAC play, was led by Savea Mansfield, who scored a game-high 28 points. The Hardrockers, however, struggled with shooting consistency, particularly in a second quarter where they connected on just three of 19 field-goal attempts.
