Dallas, Texas – Adams State men's basketball fell on the road Friday night, dropping a 113–60 decision to DBU inside the Burg Center.
The Grizzlies (4–2) hung tough early but were unable to overcome DBU's relentless pressure and three-point shooting. The Patriots hit 18 threes and turned 32 ASU turnovers into 41 points, creating separation in both halves.
Ivan Dorn Jr. led Adams State with 9 points and 7 rebounds, providing a steady presence in the paint. Luke Williams added 8 points, while Jayce King and Jerrick Guidry chipped in 7 and 6 points, respectively, off the bench. The Grizzlies' reserves combined for 35 points, one of the bright spots of the night.
Despite the offensive challenges, Adams State forced 16 turnovers and tallied 11 steals, showing flashes of defensive energy throughout the game.
The Grizzlies continue their non-conference slate tomorrow as they face off with UT Dallas before starting RMAC play next week.
