Colorado Springs, Colo. – Two Adams State cross country student-athletes were named to the All-RMAC Academic First Team, as announced by the conference office on Thursday. Maggie McCleskey and Housem Hrabi earned the honor for their respective programs.
On the women's side, McCleskey, a senior biology major, has maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA throughout her career at Adams State. A five-time All-American, she was also a member of the Grizzlies' fourth-place team at the NCAA Championships this fall.
The Grizzlies also placed several student-athletes on the RMAC All-Academic Honorable Mention list: Marie Garet, a sophomore kinesiology major; Lexi Harkrider, a junior majoring in business administration; Jazmin Estrada, a senior kinesiology major; Clara Keddy, a redshirt sophomore English major; Lieke Hoogsteen, a senior biology major; and Tristian Spence, a junior elementary education major.
On the men's side, Hrabi, a junior kinesiology major, earned All-RMAC Academic First Team honors while carrying a 3.71 GPA. Hrabi was also named an All-American this fall after helping lead the Grizzlies to a second-place finish at the NCAA National Championships.
Joining Hrabi on the men's RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll were Dan Yosief, a junior business administration major; Oisin Lynch, a sophomore kinesiology major; Gabe Onelio, a sophomore majoring in interdisciplinary studies; Harrison Boyd, a sophomore business administration major; and Louis O'Loughlin, a graduate student studying business administration.
