Adams State Pulls Away in Second Half to Defeat UCCS, 93-69

ALAMOSA, Colo. — Adams State used a dominant second-half performance to secure a 93-69 victory over UCCS in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action Thursday night at Plachy Hall.

The Grizzlies led 39-30 at halftime before erupting for 54 points in the second half to put the game out of reach. They shot 52.2% from the field and were efficient from beyond the arc, making 10 of their 20 attempts.

Jude Tapia led Adams State with 18 points, knocking down five 3-pointers to pace the offense. Alex Hurr added 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while John Harge recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Harge also contributed three steals and six assists, impacting the game on both ends of the floor.
