COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Adams State football will be featured at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Football Media Day on Thursday, July 31, at the CAVEA Theater on the MSU Denver campus in Denver. The Grizzlies are scheduled to go live on the RMAC Network at 12:45 p.m., with first-year head coach Levi Gallas joined by senior linebacker Seth Moss and senior tight end Damian Orozco.
Gallas, an Adams State alumnus who returned to the program in January after serving as defensive coordinator at West Texas A&M, is ushering in a new era for the Grizzlies. Known for his emphasis on discipline, relationships, and team culture, Gallas and his staff have spent the offseason reshaping the program with a focus on accountability and leadership.
Representing that leadership are Moss and Orozco, two veteran standouts selected to represent Adams State at Media Day.
"Seth Moss and Damian Orozco represent everything Adams State football stands for – leadership, commitment, and honor in the U Paw," Gallas said. "From day one, they've led by example, showing this team what it means to work hard, stay loyal, and honor the tradition of this program. As we move in a new direction and build a culture rooted in respect, relationships, honesty, discipline, and honor, these two have been at the forefront. They've earned the right to represent us at RMAC Media Day, and I couldn't be more proud of the men they've become."
Along with Moss and Orozco, the Grizzlies return several experienced players, including senior defensive lineman Aiden Shields. Nearly 60 new players joined the roster in the offseason, adding depth and competition across all positions as the Grizzlies aim to reset the standard in 2025.
Adams State opens the season on Aug. 30 at Western New Mexico before hosting Texas-Permian Basin in its home opener on Sept. 6. RMAC play follows shortly after as the Grizzlies look to establish a strong foundation under their new leadership.
