ALAMOSA, Colorado — In the season opener against Lubbock Christian University, Adams State falls by a score of 5-0. The home opener loss puts the Grizzlies at a record of 0-1 and gives them a chance to bounce back in their second match of the season, where they'll look to earn their first win of the early season.
Looking at the overall difference between Lubbock Christian and Adams State, Lubbock was able to handle the Grizzlies both offensively and defensively. Offensively, the Grizzlies were only able to record 3 shots, none of which were on goal, whereas Lubbock was able to record 28 total shots with 10 of them being on goal, leading to their 5 goals. For Lubbock Christian, Pedro Lucas continued his hot start to the season, recording his fourth and fifth goals in just two games. Also scoring for Lubbock were Francisco Horta, Kade McKinzie, and Ty Gibbs, who each scored once.

The game will be played at 5 PM MST and will be a great opportunity for the Grizzlies to get their first win of the season against an 0-2 Sul Ross team.
