Grizzlies Pull Away in Second Half to Top Colorado Christian, 94-80

Alamosa, Colo. – Adams State put together one of its most efficient offensive performances of the season, pulling away in the second half to earn a 94-80 RMAC victory over Colorado Christian on Friday afternoon inside Plachy Hall.

The Grizzlies led from start to finish, shooting 63.0% from the field and 45.5% from three-point range while forcing 10 turnovers and turning them into 19 points. Adams State improved to 11-7 overall and 5-5 in RMAC play.

Adams State built a six-point advantage at halftime, 47-41, behind strong shooting early. The Grizzlies opened the second half on a decisive run, stretching the lead to double digits within the first three minutes and never allowing Colorado Christian to get closer than six the rest of the way.

Dillan Baker led the way with 18 points on 6-of-7 shooting, adding two blocks and three assists. Wyatt Helming followed with 16 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while Jarmell Johnson added 17 points off the bench. Luke Williams finished with 13 points and 10 assists, recording a double-double.

Emilek Jallow chipped in 12 points, and Jaylen Alexander added 10 points as Adams State finished with six players in double figures.
