Adams State Erupts for 114 Points in Win Over Regis

ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Adams State men's basketball team put together one of its most complete performances of the season on Thursday night, rolling past Regis 114–87 in RMAC action at Plachy Hall.

The Grizzlies (12-7, 6-5 RMAC) used a fast-paced offense and relentless pressure to pull away early, shooting 51.8 percent from the field and knocking down 20 three-pointers en route to the 27-point win. Adams State led 63–52 at halftime before outscoring the Rangers 51–35 in the second half.

Adams State's depth was on full display, with the bench accounting for 62 points. Jayce King led all Grizzlies with 23 points, going 6-for-10 from beyond the arc. Dillan Baker added 14 points, while Wyatt Helming, Jaylen Alexander, and Emilek Jallow each finished with 11.

The Grizzlies forced 17 turnovers and turned them into 27 points, while also piling up 46 fast-break points. Adams State also finished with 29 assists on 43 made field goals, showcasing strong ball movement throughout the night.

The win marks Adams State's second straight at home as the Grizzlies continue RMAC play later this week against Colorado School of Mines on Saturday.
