Alamosa, Colo. — Adams State women's basketball defeated Colorado School of Mines 80–70 Saturday afternoon in Plachy Hall. Although the Grizzlies fell behind early, 40% shooting from the field allowed Adams State to chip away at the deficit and secure the win.

After a slow third quarter, Adams State entered the fourth holding a slim 50–49 advantage.
