ALAMOSA, Colo. — Grizzly football is back at Rex Stadium, and Adams State Athletics is ready to welcome Grizzly Nation with an enhanced gameday experience for the 2026 season.

Fans can look forward to an expanded pregame tailgate, the Bear Garden, a new location for the student section, updated digital ticketing procedures, accessible parking accommodations, and new postgame opportunities throughout the season.

Pregame Tailgate

The Adams State football tailgate returns this fall and will open 2.5 hours before kickoff for each home game.

Sponsored by Ska Brewing and A & L Coors, the tailgate gives Grizzly fans a place to gather before kickoff and enjoy food, drinks, and the gameday atmosphere.

The VIP area will feature Frito pie and Ska Brewing. Admission is free for current Grizzly Club members and Adams State students. General admission to the VIP area is $10. Guests must be 21 or older to consume alcoholic beverages. 

Fans should arrive early, wear green, and help build the energy before the Grizzlies take the field.

Bear Garden

The Bear Garden will open at the start of each home football game. For $25, fans can enjoy Woody's Q Shack wings and beer from A & L Coors while taking in the action at Rex Stadium. 

Guests must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.

New Student Section

Adams State students will have a new home inside Rex Stadium this season.

The student section moves to the northwest corner of the stadium, creating a dedicated space for students to bring their energy throughout the game. See graphic for illustration.

Students are encouraged to arrive early and help create a home-field advantage for the Grizzlies from kickoff through the final whistle.

Student and Staff Ticketing

Adams State students and staff will continue to receive free admission to athletic events. This season, access moves to a digital process through Hudl Ticketing. 

Students and staff can secure their free pass by visiting HERE, or go to asugrizzlies.com access Hudl Ticketing through the Fan Zone, and selecting "Adams State Staff and Students Pass." A valid 900 number must be entered as the access code. After checkout, the total will remain $0.00.

A link to the digital pass will be delivered by email and will include a QR code for scanning at the gate.

Accessible Parking and Transportation

Accessible parking for the 2026 football season will be located in the Student Union Building (SUB) parking lot.

Golf cart transportation will be available from the SUB parking lot for guests who need additional mobility support. Transportation will be provided to both the tailgate area and the main entrance of Rex Stadium. 

Coming This Season Sept. 19th: The Grizzly Postgame Huddle

Following the Homecoming game and remaining home football games, Grizzly fans will have another way to continue gameday with The Grizzly Postgame Huddle at Woody's Q Shack, the Official Postgame Headquarters of Grizzly Football.

Following Adams State home football games, fans can receive $10 off any Family Feast or XL Family Feast from the final whistle until closing. The offer will be available for dine-in or carryout, with no ticket or coupon required. 

Woody's Q Shack will also offer 2-for-1 bottled and draft beers as part of the postgame celebration. 

Grizzly victories will bring another reason to celebrate. When Adams State wins, fans can receive a free Regular Combo Upgrade with the purchase of any sandwich, a $7 value. The victory offer will be valid immediately following the game through the end of the next business day.
