ALAMOSA, Colo. — Adams State University Athletics has announced the hiring of La'Anna Golden as the department's new Sports Information Director.
Golden joins the Adams State Athletics staff with experience in athletics communications, sports information, and game-day operations. She comes to Adams State from the University of Jamestown, where she served as a Graduate Assistant in Sports Information.
During her time at Jamestown, Golden gained experience working with athletics communications, statistical reporting, social media, photography, written content, and game-day operations. She worked closely with coaches, student-athletes, and athletics staff while supporting the university's athletic programs.

She brings a great deal of experience in sports communication and will be an incredible asset to our staff. Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to elevate our programs and showcase the amazing achievements of our student-athletes."
Golden expressed her excitement about joining Adams State and beginning her career with the Grizzlies.

I am excited to build relationships, support our athletic programs, and help tell the stories of our student-athletes and teams."
Golden earned a Master of Arts in Leadership with an emphasis in Sports from the University of Jamestown. She also earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Biblical Studies.
