Box Score LEBANON, Il. (March 24, 2015)—After a lightning delay that caused the game to start an hour later, The Adams State Grizzlies faced off against the McKendree Bearcats Tuesday evening.

The first half saw McKendree's Paige Salthouse start things off by netting the first goal of the game at 29:20 to give the Bearcats an early 1-0 lead. However, Aislinn Stace would get the first goal for the Grizzlies at 26:32 to tie things up at one.

McKendree would go on a four goal run before Kendra Cheda broke the streak at 17:27 to make the score 5-2. The Bearcats would tally six more goals to end the first half up 11-2.

The second half saw the Bearcats add two more quick goals to start things off, before Cheda netted her second goal of the game off of a free-position shot at 14:31 to make the score 13-3.

McKendree 's Rianne Holzmeyer (assist Dana DiPasquale) would get that goal back for the Bearcats at 10:35. ASU's Jessica Hammer netted the Grizzlies' fourth goal with 7:45 left in the game to make the score 14-4.

Salthouse would add another goal at 5:51, but just over a minute later, Kates Raymond would net her first goal of the game to put the score at 15-5. Cheda would score next and give Adams State their final goal with 2:07 remaining.

The last goal of the game would go to Holzmeyer at 1:19 to put the final score at 16-6.

The Grizzlies will wrap up their Midwest road trip tomorrow at 5 pm (Central) against Rockhurst University.
