DENVER—The Adams State University Softball team has earned the fifth seed in the 2015 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Softball Championship Tournament Bracket, which was released by conference officials on Monday afternoon. The Grizzlies, who finished the 2015 regular season with a 23-21 overall record and a 21-17 record in conference play, will open up the tournament at 9 a.m. on Thursday at the Regis University Softball Field against the fourth seed, CSU-Pueblo.
The tournament will be hosted by the RMAC Regular Season Champion Metro State Roadrunners. The Grizzlies, are 1-1 against the ThunderWolves this season as they won a 6-5 contest on April 11 and then dropped a 4-5 contest on April 12 at Regis.
