Box Score DENVER—Just two days after getting one of their biggest win in recent history, the Metro State University of Denver Roadrunners exacted revenge as they eliminated the Adams State University softball team from the RMAC Tournament on Saturday morning. The No. 18 ranked Roadrunners, and No. 1 seeded team in the tournament, won the game by a narrow 3-2 margin.
Kenzie Mattey turned in a strong pitching performance, scattering seven hits and zero walks, while striking out six for the Roadrunners while
Kaycee Prevedel tossed five innings while allowing six hits and four walks while striking out two batters.
Morgan McWilliams finished the game in the circle as she only allowed two hits in two innings of work.
Mary Towner provided a solo home run in the third inning and Kaylynn Harmon scored on a double by Sarena Espinoza later in the inning to give the Roadrunners a 2-0 lead. The lead stretched to 3-0 when Chelsea Brew scored from second base on a fielder's choice by Espinoza.
The Grizzlies scored twice in the fifth as

Kalin Johnson and Kyanna Quarrell.
Mattey shut down ASU in the seventh in order, including a pair of strikeouts.
The Grizzlies finished the season with a 25-23 record.
