The following night the Grizzlies claimed a bit of revenge and earned a 79-75 win against UCCS. The weekend split places ASU in a three-way tie for second place in the RMAC Mountain Division.
About Colorado School of Mines (9-4,4-3 RMAC)The Orediggers currently share a conference record of 4-3 with Adams State. The Orediggers will welcome Adams State to Golden fresh off a loss to New Mexico Highlands. Colorado Mines received votes in the latest NABC poll.
About Colorado Christian University (6-7, 2-5 RMAC)The Grizzlies face Colorado Christian after the Cougars closed out a very successful weekend. CCU went on the road and handed previously undefeated New Mexico Highlands their first conference loss of the season. The Cougars are led by Zach McLemore and Wayne McCullough who rank ninth and fifteenth, respectively, in points per game amongst RMAC players. Their third leading scorer, Ty McGee, posts 12 points per game and has the fifth-most rebounds in conference pulling down 8 per game. The Cougars have road warrior tendencies by posting a 4-2 record on the road. However, they seem less ferocious at home with a 2-5 record in Lakewood.
