COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado — On Monday afternoon, March 16th, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released its 2025-26 RMAC Men's Basketball Academic Player of the Year, along with the 2025-26 First Team Academic All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team. For the Grizzlies, they received recognition for Senior Wyatt Helming who was selected as one of ten men selected from the entire conference. Helming receives this recognition after being selected as an All-RMAC First Team selection while also carrying an impressive 3.80 GPA.
For Helming, his recognition as both an All-RMAC First Team selection and an All-RMAC Academic First Team selection comes after an outstanding season where he averaged 15.8 points per game, and 7.3 rebounds per game. For Helming, he was not only one of the best Adams State basketball players on the court but he was also the best academic student for the Grizzlies. Helming's 3.80 GPA in Business Administration ranked highest on the team earning him the impressive All-RMAC Academic First Team selection. Helming was also the Grizzlies only selection on the 2025-26 RMAC Men's Basketball Academic Honor Roll.
