ALAMOSA, Colo. (October 28
th, 2016) --- The volleyball team took care of Colorado State University-Pueblo in front of a crowd filled with Halloween costume dressed fans by a score of 4-1.
Adams breezed through the first two sets 25-21 and 25-18 before losing a close third set 23-25. Things were not looking good in the fourth until a few clutch timeouts set the Grizzlies back on track for a 25-19 win.
Nina Mody Bailey led the team in kills with 16, while
Rachael Ringler added 39 assists.
Mallory Grimsrud also came up big with 7 blocks.
Adams improves to 13-9 on the season with tonight's win. The loss drops CSU-Pueblo to 8-14.
The Grizzlies return to Plachy Hall tomorrow night at 7:00 to take on the visiting Cowboys of New Mexico Highlands.
