About Colorado School of Mines (22-6, 17-5 RMAC)The Orediggers finished the season as the second seed in tournament play to set the stage for Tuesday's meeting with Adams State. It's an identical matchup of last season's RMAC quarterfinal game that resulted in the Grizzlies knocking out Colorado Mines, 94-91, in Golden. It marked the first postseason win for ASU since the 2012-13 season.
This year CSM has received votes but not enough to crack into the top 25. However, Mines still posts impressive offensive stats with the second-ranked conference field goal per game mark and three-point per game percentage. Standout Gokul Natesan leads the team in every major offensive category. Natesan ranks fourth in conference scoring with 21.2 points per game. Natesan has also averaged 2.1 steals per game; earning the number one spot amongst conference players and 17th in the nation.
