Recently In Adams State Men's Basketball:
The Grizzlies have been facing some tough competition recently and are currently on a three-game losing streak in their conference. Despite these shortcomings, the men are looking to dominate these next few match-ups by improving their shooting percentages and being a stronger force on defense.

About Colorado Christian:
The Cougars of CCU (3-9 overall, 2-4 RMAC) hold a similar record to Adams State with only a few more losses this season. Although they hold a losing record, the team managed to defeat a tough Black Hills State team by five points, and go on to extend their win streak by beating UCCS last weekend. In their most recent match-up, the CCU Cougars fell to the Metropolitan State Roadrunners with a final score of 56-76.

Last Meeting:

They matched up again on February 17 of this year and lost in a heartbreaker by one point, with a final score of 73-74. Brandon Sly led both games in points with 27 and 15, respectively.

About Chadron:
The Chadron Eagles (3-9 overall, 1-5 RMAC) have recorded a tough season so far with only one conference win and a current four-game losing streak. Their only RMAC win is their defeat of Colorado Christian earlier this season on December 4. The Eagles beat the Cougars handedly with a final score of 83-59. In their most recent match-up, Chadron fell to Black Hills State University 63-76.

Last Meeting:
Similar to the Cougars, the Grizzlies faced the Eagles twice last season, splitting their comprehensive record 1-1. In their first meeting on December 31, 2016, Shane Johnson led all scorers with 15 points. Despite this, the Grizzlies would fall with a final score of 58-66. The Grizzlies met them for a second time at home on January 20 of this year. With a much better showing, Brandon Sly led the team with 14 points and pulled out a win, beating the Eagles 80-65.
