ALAMOSA – The Adams State University women's basketball team (4-12 overall, 2-12 RMAC) is set to face Colorado School of Mines Saturday evening in Alamosa. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. in Plachy Hall. The game will be a 'Black Out' for all fans.

After two consecutive weekends being on the road, the Grizzlies return for its' first home game since January 6th. The women's team finished 1-3 during its' time on the road. The win came against a (3-16) Chadron State College team who was currently riding a 10 game losing streak at the time. Unfortunately, Adams State dropped its next game to Regis University (9-8 overall, 8-4 RMAC) 49-69.

Opposite of Adams State, Colorado School of Mines (11-7 overall, 8-4 RMAC) is currently 3-1 in its' last four games with wins against Western State, New Mexico Highlands, and Colorado Christian. The Orediggers sit in fifth in the RMAC standings, just one game behind Colorado Mesa and Black Hills State.

Saturday evening's game will be the Grizzlies first and only game against the Orediggers this season. In their previous matchup in 2017, Colorado School of Mines handed Adams State its' fifth largest loss of the season featuring a 29 point win. Cassidy Brudge led the way for the Orediggers scoring 21 points off the bench. Adams State will have a good chance at a win if it can limit Colorado School of Mines' points off turnovers which was huge in the teams' last meeting.
