ALAMOSA – The Adams State University men's and women's basketball teams are set to play Fort Lewis College in Plachy Hall on Tuesday night. Tip-off for the women's game is at 5:30 p.m.

During halftime of the men's basketball game, the school will acknowledge more than 200 of the honor roll student athletes. There will be a faculty appreciation party between the women and men's game from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m in the Hall of Fame room.

In its' previous matchup in December, Adams State lost to Fort Lewis, 87-42. Adams State (5-17, 3-17 RMAC) have lost its' last three games. Fort Lewis is coming off losses against Colorado Mesa and Colorado School of Mines.

The Adams State men's basketball team (15-11, 13-7 RMAC) is seeking to avenge its', 103-96 overtime loss to Fort Lewis in their previous matchup. This will be a huge test for the Grizzlies facing the No.14-ranked Skyhawks (21-4, 17-3 RMAC). The men are fighting for a home playoff first round game, currently sitting fourth in the conference.

Both teams will also be on display Thursday in the regular season finale against Westminster College. Six seniors will be honored for senior night before each of the games.
