Last season, the Lions earned the title of RMAC Champions, going undefeated in regular season.
About Colorado Mesa:

In their most recent competition, they took on the Skyhawks of Fort Lewis on their home turf. In a close match-up, the Mavs walked away with a razor thin win of 17-16, leading to a 1-0 start to their 2018 season.

With final scores of 21-8, 27-11, and 3-17, respectively, the Mountain Lions returned to Colorado with a 2-1 overall record.
