The Adams State University women's basketball team (5-14, 3-14 RMAC) is on the road this weekend. The Grizzlies play Colorado Mesa University Friday and Western State University Saturday. Both games begin at 5 p.m.

Adams State University: The Grizzlies are coming off a great weekend with a near upset over Colorado State University-Pueblo who is No. 1 in the RMAC and a win by blow-out against New Mexico Highlands. The team is led by Stephanie Ruiz who is averaging a team-high of just under 13 points. Additionally, Brooke Neal is chiming in just under 12 points, while Nicole Broyles-Mortensen is leading the team in rebounds with five per game.

Colorado Mesa University: The Mavericks (16-7, 10-7 RMAC) currently sit in eighth place in the RMAC following consecutive losses to Western State Colorado and Westminster College. Jaylyn Duran and Erin Reichle lead the Mavericks in scoring, with both averaging over 15 per game. The Mavericks defeated the Grizzlies by 38 points in their last meeting this past December by a score of 83-45.

Western State University: The Mountaineers (7-16, 4-13 RMAC) are coming off a weekend at home with a win against Colorado Mesa University followed by a loss to Westminster College. The team is led by Katie Dalton averaging just over 10 points and four rebounds. Jessie Erickson leads the team in rebounds averaging just under six per game. In their previous matchup, Western defeated Adams State, 67-53.
