ALAMOSA – The Adams State University softball team (3-11, 0-4 RMAC) is set to play No.3-ranked Colorado Mesa University (14-0, 4-0 RMAC) this weekend on the ASU Softball field. Due to weather, Sunday's double header will be moved to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, March 2nd. Saturday's games will begin at noon.

Adams State is seeking its' first win since February 9 against Texas A&M International University. The Grizzlies will be looking to get its' first win against the Mavericks in three years. The last time Adams beat Colorado Mesa was in March of 2015, earning a 4-2 win.

Colorado Mesa is coming off a four-game sweep over Chadron State College last weekend. The sweep extended the Mavericks undefeated season.
Brooke Hodgson leads the Mavericks hitting better than 47 percent on 48 at bats. Mckenzie Surface has dominated on the mound for the Mavericks with eight wins.
