Box Score ALAMOSA – The Adams State University softball team won the second of two games against CSU-Pueblo Saturday evening with a walk-off homerun by
Tyler Hays. The junior was one double away from completing the cycle.

The game was knotted at five runs a piece heading into the bottom of the seventh.
Kaytlynn Johnson started the inning with a lead-off single. Johnson advances to second base following a wild pitch from K'Lee Kent. Hays closed out the game with a walk-off homerun to centerfield.

Hays was a perfect four-for-four in the second game with two homeruns, a triple, and a single. She finished the game with three runs and three RBIs.
Brittany Phillips hit her second homerun of the season in the bottom of the second inning.

Whitney Fields picked up her fourth win of the season with five strikeouts. She pitched a complete game giving up just four earned runs on seven hits. Adams State earned its first RMAC win with its victory over Pueblo. The win also ended the Grizzlies 11-game losing streak.

Adams State returns to the ASU Softball Field tomorrow with a double-header against CSU-Pueblo starting at 11 a.m., followed by 1 p.m.
