ALAMOSA - Adams State University women's lacrosse team is set to host Rockhurst University and Lindenwood University this weekend in Alamosa. The Grizzlies take on the Hawks Saturday at 11 a.m., then turn their attention to No. 3-ranked Lindenwood at 2 p.m. Monday.

The Grizzlies are led by the Hammer sisters, Jessica and Samantha. Jessica had four goals on six shots, while Samantha has four goals on eight shots against Colorado Mesa and UCCS. 

Also for Adams State, Savannah Penland has two goals and an assists this season, while Cera Cyester has a goal.

Defensively, Jessica and Kendell Baylor lead the team with seven groundballs apiece, while Baylor and Kates Raymond each have a team-high four caused turnovers.
